We must reduce such pain as much as possible that we suffer for the reason we do not need to be held responsible.

The pain a person is forced to suffer because the person was born as a member of this nation by chance. The pain people suffer for their sexuality, body they were born with. A philosopher, Saburo Ichii says that eliminating such irrational pain that people suffer for attributes they are not responsible for is a more fundamental ethical requirement than the idea of "freedom" or "equality".
