It is important first to say proper greetings in everyday life. It is enough if you can do so.

We exchange words with little meaning in greeting like "Good morning”, “How are you?”. It is because greeting has meaning in the fact that you ask someone or you are asked by someone rather than what you ask or what you are asked. Greetings are a signal of not being close to each other, but being in the position to care for each other's condition. From "A-Studio" by TBS affiliate on May 29.
