Hisaya Morishige

The actor (then a broadcasting staff member), who made a  harrowing escape with his old mother, wife and children on an open carriage from the former Manchuria, said with tearful eyes, "This is us of 58 years ago." while watching refugees in the Iraq war on television.  And he added that he had not been born in order to spend such miserable days and nights. From "A Great Will At This Late Date" written by Teruhiko Kuze and narrated by Morishige.
