Nice weather today.

an elementary school principal

When Shunsuke Tsurumi was in elementary school, the principal greeted like this at morning gathering. He only said so and got off the platform. Instead, he must have worked quite hard behind the scenes. When passing a pupil,  he called him/her by name and talked a bit longer. He must have thought that a talk should be directed to each person and dealing with many and unspecified people would be a speech. "Those who have elevated to a high position talk too much but he didn't," the philosopher says. From "Bag of Memories."
