The straight-man sidekick of Audrey, a double act, says that as if the dissatisfaction whirling at the bottom of society "deprived the margin of enjoying evil and nonsense." "Warmth that failures or stupidities are at least not eliminated." And he adds that he is afraid that the atmosphere to forbid having such warmth is penetrating even variety shows. I'm sure he wants to make fun of  this justice-like tone too. From a collection of essays, "Dusk Of Skew."
