Young people with different nationalities and languages travel together with a woman who has lost her country. One of their mothers says about light-flooded South France like this. People are "connected in the slight darkness" sharing the same hardships. If it is exposed to light, all people will be isolated. But the relationship they wanted is not a wet one that depends on each other but the one in which they can grasp other people's presence precisely even with incomplete words. From a novel, "Scattered On Earth."
