Oh, I'm alive. I shouldn't have drunk it up at a time.

Shinsho Kokontei, the fifth

The rakugo storyteller got six bottles of Chinese rice wine with a warning that it would be dangerous to drink all of them at a time from the family member of a house where he freeloaded in former Manchuria. He left the house seeing the family struggling to make a living and spent days starving. He got desolate and swallowed them up thinking that he would be satisfied if he died while drinking ...... His existence itself was like rakugo. When he also fell asleep at the stage, the audience was so delighted that everyone told each other to leave him undisturbed. "Shinsho Family, Last Story" written by his daughter,  Mitsuko Minobe.
