An important thing in life is to "be serious about tackling fate". However, the more serious you become, the more life will be like a slapstick, says the US writer. Marriage life also becomes so if you stick with "love." Instead, tragicomedies can be avoided by accumulating, in some small ways, the experience that "you treated some other person carefully and he or she also treated you carefully."
