At the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the bodies were decided to be temporarily buried and then "re-buried". The director of a funeral company in Miyagi Prefecture, who was responsible for the hard work of digging up the dead bodies, had been taking pains to devise how to perform the last rite of the bereaved and to provide psychological care to a team of nine members throughout the unusual situation in Ishinomaki City.
