To me, the New York Public Library is an example of democracy and a symbol of America's finest aspects.

Frederick Wiseman

From the brochure of the documentary film, "The New York Public Library." In this film, he was able to shoot how passionate the staff were about "helping" people of all classes, ethnic groups, and generations who had difficulties, not limited to collecting books and guiding to books says he. His free eyes have found "a pillar of democracy" in this space which seems to be tasteless and dry.
