Shinro Otake

The artist says things that are or left on the road attract him. For example, “something that has been exposed to the sea breeze” has "a new world created by the trash itself,” unlike urban waste. He also says he wants to “collaborate” with the trash in spite of himself because it looks happy “drifting slowly in the sea and arriving in another form ”after it is no longer needed.  From essay collection “Things That Already Exist.”
