Whether they are aware of it or not, everything people do is at the risk of their lives.

Koji Toko

The two young translators enjoyed their young days together on the verge of desperation with no aim in the future on the pretext of doing what they liked. They eventually take different paths, but one passes away too early. Toko remembers the friend and writes like this. It is because each of them is desperately struggling that people aim for something, refuse to do something, are depressed or discouraged, or are devastated losing hope.
